Reception Area Policy
- Please refrain from cell phone use in the Patient
Reception area or Exam Rooms. An
area by the elevators has been reserved for cell phone use.
- Please be respectful of other patients in the
waiting area.
- If you are ill, and feel you may be contagious,
protective masks are available.
- In consideration of
other patients, if you are late for your appointment our Front Desk Greeters
will make every effort to confirm you will still be seen by your
physician. If your physicians
schedule does not permit such an accommodation, your appointment will be
rescheduled by a Front Desk Greeter.
- Scarsdale
Medical Group, LLP offers free wireless "WiFi" access to the Internet
for properly equipped laptops and handheld computers. When you use the free
wireless internet connection in the Reception Area you accept Scarsdale Medical
Group’s policies on Internet Access and Wireless Access. Please take the time
to read these policies before accessing the network.
- No
printing services.
- Signal
strength and speed may vary within/without the library.
- Wireless
hardware and software varies as to the operating systems you may use on your
laptop, so we can't give you precise instructions. In many cases, you need to
do nothing to hook up (just click on Internet Explorer).
- Do
not download large files over the wireless network.
- Be
prepared to be self-powered.
- Bring
your own headphones if you plan to use audio.
- The Reception
Area is a quiet area; please avoid loud typing, music, or video.
- For
some laptops with built-in cards, make sure your card is turned on (look for
On\Off switch-refer to our user manual)
