Question: Can you e-mail my records to me? Answer: The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) does not allow Scarsdale Medical Group to email any patient records.
Question: Can I e-mail a request to release my medical information? Answer: Requests for release of medical records MUST be done in writing and mailed or faxed to the physician. The original signature of the patient must be on the release form.

We establish one medical record for each of our patients. That record includes all pertinent details about your care, including results of imaging and laboratory tests. This record is available to all Scarsdale Medical Group physicians at all times, resulting in greater continuity of care.
