Freda E. Chu, MD

Freda E. Chu, MD, FACP received her undergraduate degree and her medical degree from Brown University and its School of Medicine in Providence. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Chu earned a fellowship in infectious diseases at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center where she was named Teaching Fellow of the Year. She then joined the staff at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases. Dr. Chu has conducted clinical research and has contributed to medical literature.

Dr. Chu is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Her contagious enthusiasm and her optimistic outlook complement her expertise and play an important role in the welfare and recovery of her patients.
