Tiffany Sanders, MD

Tiffany M. Sanders, MD graduated with a BA in Biology from the University of Virginia. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Sanders completed residency training in Internal medicine at MCP-Hahnemann University Department of Internal Medicine followed by a post-doctoral clinical fellowship in geriatric medicine at Johns Hopkins University of Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Sanders’ extensive background includes medical leadership positions at several medical centers throughout Connecticut. She has served as the Clinical Director for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and held the title of Medical Officer for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. It was there where she received the Administrator’s Award, the highest agency award, for innovation in the delivery of healthcare services with payment incentives. As part of her commitment to educating primary care providers, Dr. Sanders serves at the Medical Director to the University of Bridgeport’s Physician Assistant Institute.

Dr. Sanders is deeply committed to a holistic approach to providing care to her patients. She believes in open dialogue and working together with patients and their families to achieve health and wellness.
