Warangkana Sangchan, MD

Warangkana Sangchan, MD received her undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University and her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. Following her internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, she returned to Stony Brook University Hospital as a fellow in infectious diseases. She is a recipient of the Lowell E. Bellin Award for excellence in preventive medicine and community health.

Dr. Sangchan is board-certified in Internal medicine and Infectious Diseases and is well versed in the diagnosis and management of bacterial, parasitic, rickettsial and viral infections. She is devoted to the highest standards of medical practice.
