Lab work

When you feel ill, prompt test results lead to a quicker diagnosis and treatment plan. The on-site laboratory at Scarsdale Medical Group is a CLIA certified laboratory that provides a wide range of services to our patients. It is staffed by certified medical laboratory technologists and technicians with extensive training that utilize the most up-to-date technology available.

Some of the tests that can be performed include:

  • Chemistry analysis of blood, urine and bodily fluids
  • Hematology analysis for diagnosing and treating blood cell disorders as well as monitoring Coagulation disorders
  • Infectious disease testing for Lyme disease, Hepatitis, MMR
  • Mono, Pregnancy and many others
  • Urine and throat cultures

In most cases, our in-house lab allows our providers to receive test results within hours instead of days via our electronic health system.

X-ray

Accidents happen. Save yourself a trip to the emergency room. If you’re unsure if the pain in your ankle is just a sprain or something worse, an x-ray can provide the answers you need. The walk-in center at Scarsdale Medical Group is equipped with state-of-the-art digital x-ray so our diagnosis can be as accurate as possible.

Our physicians are always available to perform tests and x-rays, treat your injury and advise on follow-up care. And it’s all done on-site, avoiding a trip to the emergency room.
